2. What data we process, and why

Booking and rental forms

Data submitted via the DJ booking and equipment rental forms: name, email address, phone number (optional), event date and location, message. The submitting IP address is also recorded (abuse prevention).

• Purpose: getting in touch, preparing a quote, arranging the booking.
• Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Storage: submissions arrive by email and are also stored in the site's admin area.
• Retention: until the inquiry is settled, at most 2 years from submission; if a contract is concluded, for the period required by accounting law.

Comments

The name you give with a comment and the comment text appear publicly on the site. The email address is optional and is never displayed. To filter spam and abuse we also store the commenter's IP address and browser identifier; likes are tied to a one-way hash of the IP.

• Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) — submitting a comment is voluntary; the technical data is processed under legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f), abuse prevention).
• Retention: until the comment is deleted. Deletion requests are accepted at the email address above.

Radio and statistics

We keep only aggregated, non-identifying statistics about the live broadcast (e.g. listener counts). The play/download counters of recordings use short-lived, technical rate limiting; no lasting, personally identifiable record is kept. For contractual reasons audio playback is restricted to Hungary; to enforce this the visitor's IP address is matched to a country at request time but is not stored.

3. Cookies and local storage

The site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Only functional preferences are saved in the browser's local storage (chosen language, chosen stream quality, a notice flag) — these require no consent.

The SoundCloud and Mixcloud players load only when you start them (on click). When loaded, the provider may set its own cookies — see the SoundCloud and Mixcloud privacy policies. Web fonts are served from our own server, so no third-party request is made for them.

4. Processors and recipients

• Tárhely.eu Kft. — web hosting (the website and its database).
• Hetzner Online GmbH — infrastructure of the radio streaming server (radio.djbcapo.com).
• SoundCloud Global Limited & Co. KG, Mixcloud Ltd. — only for embedded players you choose to start.

We do not transfer data to third countries, perform no automated decision-making or profiling, and never use or share the data for marketing.

5. Your rights

You may request information about the data we hold about you, and ask for rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing, and request data portability. Send requests to info@jovoep.hu — we respond within 30 days.

6. Remedies

You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH — 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, Hungary; naih.hu; ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu), or turn to the competent court.
