I was born in 1986 as Péter Tóth. His love for music was already evident in elementary school. I started taking piano lessons and practiced on a synthesizer at home. While my male classmates were motorcycle lovers, I was music lovers. In the upper elementary school, I was already organizing house parties in my head. The next part, I think, is similar for all disc jockeys. I taped the music from the radio.
On the weekend, I always waited for the wish shows and was able to sit with headphones on for hours and wait to record the favorites. Then came the ballet rehearsals, where I was still playing cassette music. Thinking back, it was a great experience to rewind the cassettes even during the party and with a pencil.
When I was in high school, the dream home parties became a reality and I bought my first mixing console, which was a two-channel Omnitronic mixing console, and soon after I added a desktop Yamaha CD player. We always put together the technical part of a house party. I gave the mixer and a player to the other band, and there was a HiFi tower in which we could put a CD and a cassette.
The speakers were the speakers of the HiFi tower and two old Videoton speakers, and the lights were some kind of light bulb technique that blinked on music. At the time, my stage name was DJ Spark. After that, I was given the opportunity to play some music at the local club (before that, I always hung out on the DJ counter and watched how the residents were doing this profession).
After that, I was also given the opportunity as a guest DJ in the neighboring municipality of Disco! At that time, I experienced this as a very great opportunity because I got out of the local environment. And I have constantly improved my technical equipment. I bought a vinyl record player. It was some kind of noname belt-driven turntable, but it had a speed controller.
I had to pay a lot of attention to how much I touched the plate because, unfortunately, his gadget was quite weak, but this way I learned even more how to play music from a record.
